Exploring Bhutan is like stepping into a different world, where the wonders of nature and culture intertwine seamlessly, leaving a lasting impression on all who visit.
Once you arrive in Siliguri, you will be taken to Phuntsholing. After checking in, you have the day to yourself to explore the city. You can pay your respects at the tranquil Zangto Pelri shrine, which is tucked away in the centre of Bhutan, or take in the breathtaking grandeur of Bhutan Gate. Before returning to the hotel on your own for the night, take in the expansive views from Karbandi Monastery and stop by other sites.
Get taken to Thimphu after checking out of the hotel today. Check in when you arrive and take some time to unwind. After that, take a tour of Thimphu's sites. See the 177-foot Buddha Dordenma Statue, which looks out over the Thimphu Valley, after exploring the National Memorial Chorten, where you may see murals (wall paintings). Visit Motithang Preserve Takin, which is home to the national animal of Bhutan, the Takin. Before spending the night at the hotel, see the Simtokha Dzong, Tashichho Dzong, and other sites.
Leave your hotel today and travel to Punakha. A picturesque stop at Dochula Pass along the way will provide you with stunning Himalayan vistas. after reaching Punakha. See the renowned "temple of fertility," Chimi Lhakhang. Next, be in awe of Punakha Dzong's magnificent Bhutanese architecture, which is situated at the meeting point of the Pho Chhu and Mo Chhu rivers. You will then be driven to your hotel to check in and spend the night there.
Enjoy the breathtaking countryside as you journey to Paro after checking out of the accommodation in the morning. After you arrive, check into your hotel and unwind for a while. After that, take a sightseeing trip of Paro, beginning with a stop at the ancient Drukgyel Dzong ruins, where you may admire the magnificent Mt. Jhomolhari. After that, take in the sights at Kyichu Lhakhang, one of Bhutan's oldest temples. Return to your hotel for the night after your excursion.
Take a transport to Ta Dzong, an old watchtower that is now a museum, to start the day. See the Rinpung Dzong Monastery, which is renowned for its elaborate design. Lastly, proceed to Satsam Chencho Tshongkhang (the starting site) for a picturesque walk to the cliff-top Taktsang Monastery. Enjoy the breathtaking scenery as you ascend through verdant pine forests and arrive at the monastery to see its hallowed halls. Get transported to the hotel to spend the night as you wrap off the day.
