Itinerary

Spend the entire day relaxing and shopping at department stores and super markets after landing at Tribhuwan International Airport in Kathmandu. Go around "Thamel," a popular tourist destination, by yourself. Savor meals at eateries and go to bars where live music is performed. After dinner, head back to the hotel and spend the night in Kathmandu.

Enjoy your morning meal. Explore the Kathmandu Valley for half a day. Swayambhunath, one of the most magnificent Buddhist Chaityas in the world and a 2,000-year-old historical relic, Kathmandu Darbar Square, and the King Palace are among the locations.

 Half-day sightseeing in the Kathmandu Valley

One of the must-do activities in Kathmandu is a trip up to the Buddhist temple of Swyambhunath. Legend has it that Swyambhunath, or "the self-existent," is where the Valley's history starts. An iconic feature of Swoyambhunath is the Buddha eyes that gaze out over the valley. This Swoyambhunath provides a chance to learn about religious harmony. Kathmandu Durbar Square, a collection of historic temples, palaces, courtyards, and streets from the 12th and 18th centuries, is listed as a Cultural World Heritage site by UNESCO. This historic palace in the center of Kathmandu is a true representation of Nepal's history and culture.
