Darjeeling-The state of West Bengal’s is well-known for its tea business. The is located in the Mahabharat range, which is the foothills of the lower Himalayas. The British developed this town in the middle of the 19th century, and it was well-known for its hill stations. It wasn’t until much later that they discovered this area was ideal for tea plantations, and planning for that started. The town quickly rose to prominence as India’s center for tea production and was reputed to yield the best tea leaves.
Our representative will meet you at the New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP), Bagdogra Airport (IXB), or Tenzing Norgay Bus Stand (Junction). You will help with the transfer. Darjeeling is approximately 80 kilometers and three hours away. The land is breathtakingly beautiful, with sloping tea gardens and breathtaking views of Mount Everest, making it the Queen of the Hills. It is also home to the renowned Darjeeling Himalayan Railway (DHR), a World Heritage train. After checking into your hotel, you can spend the evening free to explore the local shopping center or mall.

Local Sightseeing in Darjeeling Visit the most well-known sights in Darjeeling after breakfast, including the Peace Pagoda, Padmaja Naidu Zoological Park, Tensing and Gumpo Rock, the Tibetan Refugee Self Help Center (closed on Sunday), the Himalayan Mountaineering Institute (closed on Thursday), and the Natural History Museum (closed on Sunday). Later on, head back to the lodging. You can spend the rest of the day on personal things.

Local Tours in Darjeeling Get up early this morning, preferably by 3:30 AM, and get to Tiger Hill to witness the Darjeeling dawn. Visit well-known tourist destinations like the Batasia Loop, the Ghoom Monastery, and the War Memorial after that. Go back to the hotel and eat breakfast there. Walk along Mall Road in the evening. You can spend the rest of the evening on personal pursuits.
