Set out on a once-in-a-lifetime five-day trip through Egypt, taking in the ancient wonders of Luxor, the coastal charm of Alexandria, and the historical treasures of Cairo. The goal of this tour is to give you a thorough understanding of Egypt’s breathtaking scenery and rich cultural legacy.
You will be driven to your hotel in an air-conditioned vehicle after you arrive at the Cairo airport. Stay the night in Cairo.
The Egyptian Museum of Antiquities should be the first stop on your tour. The largest and most valuable collection of Egyptian art in the world, spanning 5000 years, is on display. There are more than 250,000 authentic artifacts on display, including an exhibit devoted to Tutankhamen's treasure, gold, and jewelry collection, which was kept inside his tomb for more than 3,500 years until it was uncovered during the 1920s tomb excavation. See the Mykerions, Cheops, and Chephren, the Great Pyramids. Cheops is the biggest thing ever constructed. A close-up of Sphinx, a massive funeral complex guarded by the fabled lion body with King Chephren's face, follows. Upon completion of the day, we will return you to your hotel. (Choice) going to the Pyramids area in the evening to see the Sound & Light show. Spend the night in Cairo.
To begin your tour of Alexandria, our tour guide will come to you at your hotel. With eight million books, the Library of Alexandria is the largest library in the world and a good place to start the tour. See its free museums and open court. Note: Every public holiday and Friday are closed days for the Alexandria Library. You will need to buy an additional ticket in order to enter the reading area. Next, go to the Lighthouse Site, one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, where the Qaitbey castle now stands. See the royal palaces of Haramlek and Salamlek, the royal beaches of the queens, and the royal gardens of King Farouk, the last monarch in Egyptian history. Continue your tour by seeing the statue of Alexander the Great, the memorial of the Unknown Soldier of Alexandria, and the Abbo Elabbas Mosque, the city's largest and most beautiful mosque. After stopping for an optional lunch, you can drive 30 kilometers along the Cornish to see the entire city of Alexandria from the sea, including the old harbor where we discovered 7000 monuments underwater, and then visit the church of St. Mark, the oldest church in Africa. Before touring Alexandria's historic downtown and strolling through the city center, which was constructed by Alexander the Great, stop by the well-known Stanley Bridge, a modern landmark. Return to your hotel in comfort.
Get to the domestic airport so you can catch your flight to Luxor. After meeting you, our representative will begin your full-day tour of the West Bank. visiting the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, the Valley of Kings, the Deir El Bahari Temple, and the Colossi of Memnon. visit to the Eastern Bank of Thebes' Necropolis. Drive across the Nile to the Valley of Kings, where you can see the tombs of several different dynasties and the Temple of Deir El Bahari. Stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous sitting statues that depict Amenophis III facing the Nile, on the way back. See Queen Hatshepsut's Temple. Next, going to the East Bank touring the Temple of Luxor and Karnak Visit to the Luxor Temple to view the Ramses the Great granite statues and the temple's courtyard Travel to Karnak, a significant collection of temples constructed during indifferent reigns, by carriage or bus.
After breakfast at the hotel, our agent will drive you to the airport and help you with the last-minute departure procedures.
