The moment someone thinks of Egypt, there are certain images that are bound to flash before the eyes and these would include the sphinx and the pyramids. However, there is much more to this country and the capital city of Cairo is the best example.
Choosing a good Cairo tour package will enable tourists to see how much this city has grown, while still keeping its past intact. While a trip to see the stunning pyramids is an absolute must, there are plenty of other experiences, awaiting tourists. Cairo could quite aptly be named the city of contradictions because while there are monuments that are decades old, there are also plenty of modern sights to see.
For families, a tour package to Cairo would be perfect, because the city caters to all age groups. The young members will certainly enjoy heading to the top of the Cairo Tower, from where they will be able to see almost all of the city and beyond. The Cairo Giza Zoo and Garden is a great place to spend an afternoon, while theme parks such as Dream Park and Crazy Water Aqua Park will offer hours of fun. Every holiday package to Cairo must include a trip to the fantastic Pharaonic Village, which is a recreation of what Egypt once looked like.
